The battle for Origin spots heats up

It's almost a rugby league tradition. The annual speculation and conjecture about who should line up for Queensland and New South Wales in the rugby league State of Origin series. 2012 is no different and opinions have been shared in earnest. The focus of the debate the last couple of weeks has been the makeup of the New South Wales halves. .

    Manchester United have put 1 hand on the Title with a fairly comfortable 2-0 win over strugglers QPR at home. United were gifted a penalty early on with a dubious decision as Young was brought down inside the box, also sending off the QPR defender to give them a man advantage. QPR are dangerously close to the bottom 3 as only goal difference sees them in 17th position with 6 games remaining.
