I have a cousin who is an ardent evolutionist - Best of 2012
He – like so many other science-minded, hard-thinking individuals the world over – is firmly of the belief that the diversity of life on Earth came about through a series of tiny changes to various species over a period of millions (or more) of years. Fundamentally, says he, we're no different from any animals – we just have the blessing of having our DNA arranged in a particularly advantageous way. .

United Stay in Control!
Manchester United remained in control of the Premier League with a gutsy 2-1 win over Liverpool at Old Trafford. United dominated the first half, going in 2-0 at half time however Liverpool came out firing in the second 45, pulling 1 goal back and then controlling much of the second period however couldn't find the equalizer ensuring United kept there place at the summit of the league.

Fake it till' you make it? - Best of 2012
Let's be honest, in this case, we're all guilty. We all have our very own shameful stories of faking it. The story of a successful all nighter, or of shameless flirtations, or maybe it was that time you sang twinkle twinkle little star at a musical audition... That time I did not make it.

Airports and Aeroplanes - Best of 2012

The Search for Simplicity - Best of 2012
A good friend and former professor of mine is fond of saying that all Christians are called not only to salvation, but to service, sacrifice, and simplicity. Simplicity is the one I want us to think about a bit today.

Is it really OK to be single? - Best of 2012
These days, it's rare to find a mainstream media commentator that raises their voice in a way that resonates with the church– but I read an opinion article by Shelley Bridgeman this week that did just that. The writer asked the questions "Is it really ok to be single?" from the premise that society by and large still discriminates in many ways against those who are unmarried, either by choice or circumstance.

Arsenal slams Newcastle!
Arsenal continued their great run of form with 7 goals as they destroyed Newcastle late on, winning 7-3. Walcott scored a hat trick as Newcastle continued their disappointing start to the year only 3 points above the drop zone. Arsenal can climb to equal 4th if they win their game in hand.
