How best to love (us) idiots.
If one of my friends is being among other things, a loveable idiot, am I as his loyal and well groomed friend required to support him in his idiocy. Or as the wise and all-knowing almost \'yoda\' like the person I am, is it up to me to intervene resulting in undoubtedly better choices and results for him?.

We need each other .... yes, we do!
In this world, although we have individual lives, we live those lives in community. No one can say they can live by themselves without others around them, yes taking into account we can do lots of things by ourselves.

Do you deny Christ? Or do you just live like you do?
I recently watched the 2014 American movie: "God's not dead". One of its main characters, Josh Wheaton, is a Christian college freshman who decides to take up the challenge laid down by his atheist Philosophy professor to convince his fellow classmates that God exists.

Don't rock the boat.
I can guarantee you've heard the story before. It involves sub-zero waters, a sinking ship and a soul-crushing end to "one of the most beautiful romances of all time". END the mummy wars!
I am throwing in the towel, or rather raising my white flag. I am done! That is right I have enough of the mummy wars. The truth is that I don't want to battle against you. I want us to work together old and young to help each other raise our children to be worshippers and followers of God.

Violence, mirth, community, and Christ
You've probably seen those two masks strung together that symbolise drama, the one that is sad, the one that is happy. It's an ubiquitous sign of drama, immediately recognisable as it reflects the emotions we might expect to have upon watching a good show.

I'm better than a four year old
When walking home from university one day, I took a shortcut across a muddy field next to a bunch of netball courts. There was a local tournament on, and plenty of life and noise reverberated off the clubhouse.
