Two years ago, Mercy Village ~ Wembley resident Ray Holwill took on the mammoth task of building a model replica of the sailing ship Barque Elizabeth which brought the Sisters of Mercy to Australia in 1846.

A book inspiring Christians to reconnect with the Bible will be launched this week at CRE (Christian Resources Exhibition). The Biblefresh book is a collection of essays written by Christians from a variety of churches and organisations and is the key resource of the Biblefresh movement. The contributors' main objective is to share their wisdom in order to help Christians to re-engage with the Bible in a practical way.

Founder of Teen Ranch and Walk Thru the Bible in Australia passes away
Doug Gibb (89) passed away Monday night, May 3rd. He had been unwell for some time and died in hospital on the Gold Coast. His funeral was Friday, May 7th, and the Rev Dr Garry Coleman conducted a small service primarily for family and close friends.
