
M V Tronson served as the Australian Cricket Team chaplain for 17 years to the end of 2000 when he moved sideways to Life After Cricket. In 2007 he started up Cricket Family Respite.
It was fitting therefore that the first interview on IPTV was with Greg Chappell, the former Australian cricket captain, Cricket Hall of Fame inductee and the Head Coach of the Australian Institute of Sport Cricket Unit.
Since then the Australian Missionary News IPTV has established four categories for the 36 interviews to date – Sport, Mission, Media and Professionals.
While in Western Australia, Mark Tronson has been assisted in the organisation of the interviews and the technical necessities.
For example, Margaret Court who has offered her Victory Life Church 'studio' for videoing; and staff from that Church will be helping with editing and production. M V Tronson first met Margaret Court in 1985 through Jeanine Treharne (America's Cup Yachting) and he has maintained contact with her during the intervening years.
Other helpers include Richard Pengelley, now a school chaplain, and the former 1988 Olympic water polo vice-captain who helped many Christian athletes with his '10 Common Questions for Christian Athletes' paper that was published in Tronson's book "No Orchestra, No Trumpet"(launched by Margaret Court in 1994); radical Christianity guru Jarrod McKenna; bright young scientist Nathanael Yates, and star Netballer Susan Fuhrmann.
There will also be a Well-Being Australia Country Town Tour ministry component of the Western Australian trip. Mark Tronson will spend to two full days in Albany, where he will be engaged in Prison ministry and with local Christian community connections with meetings.
