Facebook Wars
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away… no wait. That's not how this starts. Very recently, unfortunately within this galaxy, wars of a different nature have been brewing. Not potential wars involving Israel or North Korea. No, these are wars that are not fought with missile threats but instead with petty actions on social media. .

The real "Gay Issue"
There are certain times in my life I wish I could twink out and re-write over the top of. It's funny how those cringe-worthy moments have a habit of haunting us.

Managing our temper is a process
This is such an interesting topic, for as human beings, everyone of us has a temper. Someone has a bad temper, another perhaps a mild one. Perspective, please
I am the queen of freak outs, the mind spinning, my life is over, freak out. I do that thing where I let my mind wander into the worst possible scenario and I start strategizing how I'll handle it. This is my way of controlling what will happen to me. I figure I can't control what flies my way, but how I handle it, that's on me. But as I say, when push comes to shove I freak out…

Downton Abbey and a trip through another age
Horse-drawn carriages, glamorous costumes, the grandeur of the old buildings, a slower pace of life, an era we never lived in - these are some of the things that I find intriguing about the BBC series Downton Abbey.

At the end of the day
There are different lenses and categories to consider things. There are different scopes to look at life. Part of sociology and our conflict is that we hold to all different forms of capital. We disagree with each other on what is valuable and what is worthwhile. This can be things that we own or things that we do or things that we are.
