True faith vs. False professions
"Not everyone who calls out to me, 'Lord! Lord!' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgement day many will say to me, 'Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.' .

Breaking up with busy
\'No one ever wants to hear how stressed out anyone else is, because most of the time everyone is stressed out. Going on and on in detail about how stressed out I am isn\'t conversation. It\'ll never lead anywhere. No one is going to say, \"Wow, Mindy, you really have it especially bad. I have heard some stories of stress, but this just takes the cake.\"' – Mindy Kaling

Three mind blowing things about the End
The Bible has been the book which has been super-effective in consistently blowing my mind ever since I began to read it seriously. I\'ve not only discovered profound implications for my own life, but have also begun to realise the cosmic implications within its pages.

Family: The weirdly wonderful
You can choose your friends but you cannot choose your family. This is fact and surely everyone will agree that having a family is a blessing, although its members may sometimes cause a little inconvenience or grievance. I am lucky that when I moved to Australia my sister was already settled in here to show me the ropes. Shortly after my arrival, my brother came to Sydney as well bringing his wife and daughter along with him.

Thanksgiving with Lindsay Lohan

Is there equality in sport?
Why is it that when you open a newspaper and flick to the sports section, you mainly see men sprawled across the pages? Is sports considered manly? Should it be considered manly? When it comes to the treatment of women in sports, they're treated with obvious inequality.

SPARC notes - Creativity, Christianity and Culture
Jeff Crabtree is someone with an intense dislike for the conventional wisdom. He is far too curious for that. But don't be the one to tell him that curiosity killed the cat. "The biggest element in someone being able to create something, is curiosity," he says. If it ain't broke don't fix it? His answer is "If it isn't broke, nobody's tried to break it yet".

The House with no windows – bad boundaries
Personal case study. Three friends text, call, arranging, organising. My things and my time scheduled for the day gone out of the window, and instead a full schedule, with the rest of the day now designated to driving around town trying to meet their needs and requests and demands.
