Melbourne's Belinda Croft has once again produced a smashing video on the young writers conference, this time for the 1 August awards conference in Sydney.
The 2 min video selling point is that it is initiated by a wave or two, in fact many waves at Snapper's Rocks Coolangatta on the Gold Coast, the venue of the annual international Roxy Surf Carnival.
Rather than presenting the annual young writers conference with the usual backdrops and the faces of previous conferences and award winners, this video takes an entirely different tact with a philosophical message as the back drop – Belinda Croft was requested to provide a 'presentation'.

Belinda Croft along with her helper and sometimes front person sister Laura Veloso have produced a list of pedigree young writer videos – these may be viewed on the Press Service International web site.
The list of their previous videos -
2014 young writer award winners
2014 pre-conference promotion
2014 NZ young writer conference
2014 NZ pre-conference promotion
2013 young writer award winners
2013 pre-conference promotion
2013 ARPA conference
2012 ARPA conference
The scenarios behind these young writer conference videos on YouTube is to illustrate the nature of the 'Voices' of these young writers - published onto the international area through Christian Today.
Christian Today based in London with offshoots around the world including Australia is the third largest Christian news provider in the world behind two US based Christian on-line news organisations, Christian Post and Christianity Today News.
Press Service International provides Christian Today three columns each week day for these young writers to exercise their Voice into the international marketplace of ideas.

Snappers Rocks Surf
The idea was initially discussed in Melbourne at the end of February when my wife Delma and I visited Melbourne with young writers editor Sophia Sinclair. On the evening of the 28 February we met with Belinda Croft and Laura Veloso over a meal to discuss various matters including this video.
The suggestion of moving backgrounds was aired – including Snappers Rocks as we live in Tweed Heads (the Queensland – New South Wales border is a little artificial for locals). It was left at that until video footage could be taken.
This took place at Easter early April when my son Wesley, a sports young writer, and I went to Snappers Rock and took video footage and then photo card was put into an express envelope and sent to Melbourne. We were advised by Belinda Croft when it arrived and so in May the creative development of the video was initiated.
The creative energy was in over drive and you the viewer be the judge! The emphasis is on a presentation, not faces of previous year's young writers!
The 2015 young writer conference is in Sydney on Saturday 1 August. Be sure to view the 2 min video.
