After the remarkable 'One Day in Melbourne' in April where mission agency-society publication editors, Christian bloggers and small Christian media outlets came together, now John Sandeman editor of 'Eternity' has become the third co-host of these "One Day ...." online national ministry days.
Reverend Bob Thomas editor of New Life and Dr Mark Tronson a daily columnist with Christian Today (and founder of PSI – Press Service International's young writer program) were co-hosts of "One Day in Melbourne" along with the Salvation Army offering their Blackburn facilities.
Now with "One Afternoon in Sydney" the next online ministry 'day' on Saturday 13 August, combining with the annual PSI young writers 'morning' conference, Reverend Bob Thomas suggested John Sandeman as the third co-host.
Reverend Bob Thomas explained, as a logcial development, John Sandeman attended "One Day in Melbourne" - and we're the three major online main stream "across the board" Christian media outlets
New Life
Eternity
Christian Today
John Sandeman is speaking at the PSI young writers morning conference on Saturday 13 August in Sydney and when approached, John has come on-board as the third co-host of these national "One Day ....." online ministry days.

Three Publications
"New Life" is Australia's Evangelical fortnightly online news, established way back in 1935 as hard copy. Editor Reverend Bob Thomas bought it into the digital age.
"Eternity" was founded by John Sandeman after three decades with Fairfax. Housed by The Bible Society, it is both online and a hard copy newspaper distributed to churches around the nation.
"Christian Today" is wholly online, and is part of the CMCI world wide network of Christian news providers. In 2008 Dr Mark Tronson was invited to become a Christian Today Australia daily columnist. This initiated PSI - Press Service International, now with 85 young people being published in Christian Today with monthly rota articles.

Who are they?
Bob Thomas -
Bob is minister of St Kilda-Balaclava Presbyterian Church in Melbourne for the past 22 years. He regards this as his 'day job'. As editor of 'New Life' Christian Newspaper, which serves the non / trans / multi / inter / denominational church and is available free from www.nlife.com.au and which Bob serves in a voluntary capacity.
He has served two terms as Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Victoria and was Moderator General of the Presbyterian Church of Australia from 2004-2007. He is director of PresAID, the Presbyterian Church's Overseas Aid And Development Committee.
John Sandeman
John, after almost three decades as a prisoner of Fairfax (was a senior journalist with a balanced and forthright Christian presence). John celebrated his freedom by the radically insane act of starting a Christian newspaper, Eternity, as the internet age was gathering pace. Seven years later Eternity is published by the Bible Society and the paper with a growing online presence fulfills its role of encouraging Australia's Christians by reflecting what God is doing in this nation.
