If you have read any of my previous articles there is a pretty good chance that you would have picked up that I have a warehouse, along with my friend Tim, which is called the Mosaic Workshop.
You would have also picked up that we started this warehouse as a missional project within our community that we hoped would be something; that in some small way would make the world a better place.
Our main objective was to bring people together around creativity, hospitality, and faith.
The other day we made a neighbourhood art installation at our warehouse and we called it 'The Bonfire.'
The intention was to bring people in our community together, to eat together, and to create a beautiful sculpture using wool and light.
The thing that really encouraged me about doing this was that we got funded by our local council to put this event on: the Albert/Eden Local Board and Albert/Eden Neighbourhood Arts.
I was so stoked that at the core our government wants things like this to happen.
So all I want to do here is show a video that I made about 'The Bonfire.' It captures the evening far better than I could do with words. I hope you enjoy it.

May we as the Church work toward bringing people together!
