Windows OS manufacturer Microsoft has released its latest advertisement on YouTube. Interestingly, the ad features the company's latest device Surface Pro 4 backed with Cortana, against Apple's iPad Pro and Siri voice command.
Cortana starts by running down a short, but impactful list of its features, and the noteworthy thing was Siri's voice that stumbles throughout the commercial. In the advertisement, the iPad Pro falls short on almost every specification, which is mentioned by Cortana.
The commercial focuses on a party that iPad's Siri is hosting for the latest addition of a Smart Keyboard, informing the Surface Pro 4 that now it is a computer just like Surface Pro 4. In response to that, Cortana asks Siri whether it has an Intel Core i7 processor, a trackpad, full access to Office, and external ports. However, Siri simply says, "Like I said, I just got a keyboard."
The advertisement ends with: "Surface does more. Just like you." The fresh commercial adds fuel to the competition between the two tech giants, who also battled it out between the Surface Book with Windows 10 and MacBook with OS X.
In December last year, Microsoft rolled out a peaceful commercial, which centered on a group of its store workers singing seasonal carols just outside an Apple Store.
