Over the last two years our lives have been turned upside down by the COVID pandemic. I made this video at the very beginning of the pandemic when we were having to face things that had never happened before in our lifetimes.
The mass cancellation of many events and hobbies was confronting to many people. The dramatic changes in our world offered us an opportunity to ask ourselves: What is my greatest treasure?
And is my treasure something that can be taken from me? Jesus warns us about storing up earthly treasures and points to towards eternal treasures. No better way to consider the greatest treasure than to dress up as a pirate. Ahoy!
