Pastor Greg Laurie has shared three tips for Christians wondering what the will of God is for their lives.
In a video post on Facebook, the senior pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California, answers the question he believes all Christians should be asking.
1. God speaks to us through His word
"Write in the margins of your Bible," Laurie instructs as he shows followers a close up of his Bible from years ago scattered with handwritten notes all along the sides.
A Bible that is "falling apart" is often an indication that the person's life is not, the 63 year old claims.
"But it's not how you mark your Bible, it's how your Bible marks you," he states, telling listeners that they will know God's will when they read His words.
2. God will speak through circumstances
That is, by opening and closing doors, he explains, alluding to the frequently quoted Proverb "In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps."
3. God will give us His peace
"When we're in the will of God we'll have His peace," the Christian author explains, going on to quote Colossians 3:15: "Let God's peace settle with finality all matters that arise in your minds."
The renowned evangelist has been holding large-scale evangelistic events similar to Billy Graham crusades for over three decades. Last March, a Harvest Crusade filled the 82,000 seater AT&T stadium in Texas which saw 6,300 profess their faith in Jesus.
