Jared Diprose of Auckland New Zealand hand crafted a bowl as a thank you on behalf of the Press Service International young writers for Mr Basil Sellers AM the major sponsor of the young writer program.
Presented at the annual awards conference on 1 August to Russell Modlin the Chairman of the Leadership Group Young Writers whereupon the bowl was sent to Mr Sellers for when he returned from overseas. Mr Sellers was delighted with it.
Jared Diprose spoke at the 2014 young writers conference in Tweed Heads of his vision for an art warehouse and was signing a lease the day after his return in mid September. One month later he lost his left eye in an industrial accident at the art warehouse and in March this year he married his sweetheart Sierra.
Both Jared and Sierra came over from Auckland for the 2015 young writer conference and presentation.

Dr Mark Tronson is a Baptist minister (retired) who served as the Australian cricket team chaplain for 17 years (2000 ret) and established Life After Cricket in 2001. He was recognised by the Olympic Ministry Medal in 2009 presented by Carl Lewis Olympian of the Century. He mentors young writers and has written 24 books, and enjoys writing. He is married to Delma, with four adult children and grand-children.
