There are only 15 days to the online ministry "One Afternoon in Sydney" as a direct result of the remarkable outcomes of 'One Day in Melbourne' in April. 'One Afternoon in Sydney' is set for 1.30-4.00pm Saturday 13 August at the Salvation Army's Stanmore House, Stanmore.
'One Afternoon in Sydney' is co-hosted by
Rev Bob Thomas Editor New Life,
John Sandeman editor of Eternity and
Dr Mark Tronson a daily columnist with Christian Today.
It is compacted into an afternoon rather than a full day as it is combined with the PSI - Press Service International young writer annual conference and awards.
As was One Day in Melbourne, there is no cost, the aim is to provide mission agency / society publication editors, Christian bloggers and those in those small Christian media outlets, a top of the line presentation without sending mission people into bankruptcy.
What we have is as follows
9.30am – 12.30pm the PSI young writers conference
1.30pm to 4.00pm the designated One Afternoon in Sydney.
The earlier part of the day, the young writers section, has luminaries such as John Sandeman speaking, editor of Eternity (Bible Society) whose pedigree is visible as a former senior journalist over many years with Fairfax.
One Afternoon in Sydney
One Afternoon in Sydney, aimed to assist mission agency / society publication editors, Christian bloggers and those in small Christian media outlets, along with the young writers, is specific and focused.
