Bill is the son of former Brooklyn Dodger baseball player Andrew "Doc" Alexson. He played Pro Basketball in Greece for 2 years and then Founded the NBA Players' Chapel Program. He served as Chaplain to the Boston Celtics' players for twenty years.
He has authored five Pro Athlete testimonial books with Thomas Nelson Publishers. Currently President and Founder of Sportspower International Incorporated . He travels the world with former and current NBA players, encouraging youth to make right choices in life through games, clinics, camps, school assemblies and urban outreaches. He and his wife, Valerie reside in Baltimore, MD with their son Brandon.
