The Awards evening's guest speaker was the Reverend Professor Michael Tate a former Senator and Minister of Justice. His enlightening story of his personal journey through politics where Ministry was delayed by thirty years.
One new dimension were the number of "young" Christian journalists in attendance who were encouraged by their older peers. To this end Mark and Delma Tronson are keen to bring their five young sports writers to next year's ARPA conference in Adelaide.
