Voices for Justice 2010

Join Micah Challenge supporters of all ages, from all across Australia for four days of learning, worship, reflection and action. Beginners and seasoned campaigners - all welcome. In this election year, and with just five years to go to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) to halve global poverty, we can make a difference as we speak together.

We need to do all we can to see global poverty halved. We need to do our fair share to give MORE and BETTER AID, and we need to TACKLE THE THREATS like climate change that are already impacting poor communities and undoing important development work.

2010 - a year for change!

2010 is a significant year for Micah Challenge. In Australia there will be a federal election in late 2010, creating the opportunity to call each political party to make pre-election commitments to policies that benefit the global poor.

Someone from every electorate!

We want to see as many electorates around Australia represented at Voices for Justice this year so that MPs can be met by people from their constituency. We especially encourage people from regional and marginal electorates to participate. Could this be you?
