Tronson, who goes by his French artistic historic name Tronson du Coudray, impressed Mr Yuri Rudolsi with his unique pieces posted in the Gold Coast Visitors Guide.
The paintings raise funds for Well-Being Australia via its Art Ministry, but it's not all about charity. Mark Tronson uses his art as a form of respite to escape stress. His ultra modern, unique pieces can be found displayed across the Gold Coast in many establishments from restaurants to medical practices.
Mr Basil Sellers, a recognised art collector and connoisseur has been a great supporter of Mark Tronson's rural art centres. In 2003 the Basil Sellers Art Centre was opened in the coastal community of Moruya and Mr Sellers generously donates a bi-annual $10,000 Art Prize.
Some of the exciting features that the art ministry offer include art classes, a venue for artists to meet and paint and an exhibition facility, very popular amongst youths. In 2007 Mark Tronson relocated to Tweed Heads and the Basil Sellers Tweed Art Studio was opened and expanded into an Art Ministry.
Since 2003 Tronson du Coudray's paintings have been displayed all around the world from the UK to the USA, New Zealand, Canada, India, Australia and now Brazil.
Of all the painting he does, Tronson prefers commissions because he can work from someone's own idea and translate it into his own vision. A gorgeous example of this work is a trilogy he created entitled 'Sports Anguish' for Basil Sellers.
Basil Sellers believes the secret to Tronson du Coudray's art is that it starts off with a story and then takes on a world of its own. In his ministry, Mark Tronson specialises in athlete and coach respite and believes art and respite go hand in hand.
Marks newly commissioned work will be on a canvas over two metres wide....and is made up of bright colours. Mr. Rodosli's will hang the art opposite his bed in his master bedroom so he can wake up to fresh, inspiring colours.
