This Lay Witnesses for Christ International award was for their services over 27 years to Sports and Olympic Ministry and the spectacular presentation evening was hosted by Lay Witnesses for Christ International founder and president Dr. Sam Mings and his wife, Sharon.
Mark Tronson 58, is a Baptist minister (33 years), the Founder of the Sports and Leisure Ministry (1982) which by 2000 placed 150 Chaplains in Professional Sports. He then moved sideways and elected Chairman of Well-Being Australia which provides respite facilities for elite athletes.
Twelve months on since that momentous evening for Mark and Delma Tronson, a great many things have happened in their ministries, but three are very identifiable.
First, the founding of the Australian Missionary News IPTV as part of the Well-Being Australia ministries. This hosts short video interviews with Christian identities from Sports, Mission, the Professions and the Media.

Second, the dramatic expansion of WBA's media ministry, Press Service International (PSI) http://psi.bushorchestra.com/ and the subsequent link with the on-line daily news media 'Christian Today Australia' http://au.christiantoday.com/
Third, the athlete Respite ministry is in the process of being established overseas, and not by them travelling and telling their story, rather by inviting key international people for an Australian 'Respite Ministry' study tour in order for them to see it for themselves.

The International Award and Gold Medals presented by Carl Lewis was like a beacon for their ministry, a lighthouse identifying the Lord's touch on their ministries in these later years.
