Mark Tronson recently caught up with Rod Milne, a former Queensland hockey representative of the 1970s, who is involved with Australia's largest wholesaler and mail order field hockey company, 'Just Hockey'. He is also the chairman of the Gold Coast IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) business group which is establishing E-business IPTV
Mark Tronson runs the Australian Missionary News IPTV channel on the 'SafeWorlds' website which is found in the 'Australia - 'Faith Hope & Charity' IPTV station.
This was kicked off last month with Mark Tronson interviewing Cricket Hall of Fame's and AIS Cricket head Coach Greg Chappell on 'athlete respite'.
"At a recent Gold Coast IPTV start-up meeting, Rod Milne was asking me about cricket, and I explained although cricket was my area of ministry, it wasn't my game" remarked M V Tronson. "Actually, field hockey is my passion."
"That initiated a vibrant discussion on field hockey and as soon as Rod Milne mentioned his surname, I recognised it's 'hockey' link immediately," M V Tronson explained.
After a vibrant discussion about field hockey, when each of them recognised the other's name 'in context', Rod Milne spoke of his business involvement in 'Just Hockey' and suggested exploring ways in which these five hockey book might be updated.
"We are continuing with ongoing formal and informal communications," noted Mark Tronson. "I am also keen to interview Rod Milne for the Australian Missionary News IPTV on his past and current involvement with hockey."
Mark Tronson and Rod Milne have another thing in common: they are both passionate about Jesus.
