|PIC1|You can find out by attending Camden Airport on Saturday February 21 where Mission Aviation Fellowship* will conduct a special Discovery Day from 10am.
There will be free flights for the first 20 children**, a free sausage sizzle and PNG-brewed coffee served all day, static displays of old and new aircraft, special presentations and guest speakers.
Of particular interest will be a display of the latest GA8 Airvan – made in Gippsland, Victoria, and favoured by MAF pilots throughout Papua New Guinea and Arnhem Land for its sturdy construction, ease of handling and abundant storage capacity.
Airvans are also performing valuable service with MAF in Aceh, East Timor and Cambodia.
In addition to displays and flights, the Discovery Day will provide information for those considering mission aviation or engineering as a career path with opportunities for young people to talk with pilots and other members of staff.
This will be an exciting and interesting day for the whole family, not to be missed.
*Mission Aviation Fellowship operates in over 30 countries and flies to more than 2500 destinations worldwide – more than any other airline. MAF enables 1000 church, mission and humanitarian agencies to reach people in isolated communities throughout the developing world.
**for children aged 8-12 years. Parent or parent/guardian consent required.
