The launch of the new IPTV channel means anyone can consume all the latest missionary news over the internet…. for free! It is a very exciting prospect for former Australian cricket team chaplain and Australian Missionary News founder, Mark Tronson. His goal is to use IPTV to spread Jesus' word to the masses, particularly the more internet savvy, younger generation.
To kick start the channel, Mark Tronson interviewed cricket head coach of the Australian Institute of Sport, Greg Chappell, a supporter of the Australian Missionary News.
"The publicity surrounding the Greg Chappell interview on the Australian Missionary News IPTV has given the project a grand kick-start. We've received so many positive responses that it has been quite overwhelming," said Tronson.
"It is a six minute interview covering the subject of athlete respite and the importance of rest and recreation for professional sportsmen."
Mark Tronson was interviewed by Los Angeles IPTV Missionary News in February this year and invited by SafeWorlds to initiate its Australian Counterpart. He has also established a regular website with all the latest in missionary news, updates and interviews.
To promote the exciting new project Tronson is selling 100 "Australian Missionary News IPTV" caps for a fund raiser.
As the first promotional material for the up and coming channel, they are collector's items and can be delivered: $10 the cap and post/pack $5 = $15, and for multiples of four or more, only $8 post/pack.
