Spurs couldn't capitalize on a chance to stay in touch with the leaders, drawing 1-1 at home to Wolves while Norwich won 2-1 away at West Brom. Newcastle went 6th after winning 1-0 at home to QPR in Hughes first game in charge with Rangers and Arsenal missed their chance to gain on Spurs, loosing 3-2 away at Swansea.
