How did they get there?
Sitting second on the AFL ladder to West Coast (only on percentages) Sydney has won all five of their games this season. They started off the season with the hometown draw against the new GWS Giants (easy win!). Then they took on a competitive Freemantle winning 94 to 81. Round three saw them defeat Port Adelaide before destroying North Melbourne the following week. Last week they showed their form beating the competitive Hawthorn unit.
More to come!
Over the next few games they take on Adelaide, Richmond, Melbourne, and St. Kilda. On paper, all wins. If this happens the Swans will have a dream run into round 13 against Geelong, cement their spot in the top eight and a finals spot for September. It all looks good, "on paper." With a full playing list and few injuries the Swans are the team to watch. This Saturday Sydney take on Adelaide 7.40pm at the SCG.
