The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was unveiled on August 2, and the phablet is all set to hit the markets in many parts of the world starting from August 19 in the US, and September 2 in Europe.
The Note 7 is the successor of the Galaxy Note 5 and the device brings in its fold a range of new specifications including an iris scanner, waterproof abilities and enhanced S Pen stylus, which can be sufficient grounds for consumers to upgrade to the Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 version.
Display: There are three variants starting with the Galaxy 7 from $650, which has a 5.1-inch screen; Galaxy S7 Edge ($750 and up), which has a 5.5-inch screen; and Galaxy Note 7 ($850 and up), which has a 5.7-inch screen
Resolution: All three phones have spectacular resolution of 2560 x 1440-pixel, AMOLED screens which can take on any iPhone display out of the water.
Processor: All the three devices have super-speedy quad-core processors as well as water-resistant designs.
Stylus Pen: The S pen is one of the best pens for sketching. The latest Notes app has an option of different markers, pens, pencils, etc. The pen has a pressure-sensitive tip which offers users a ballpoint-pen feel. Also, users can edit spreadsheets, create GIFs, and snap underwater images.
Camera: Note 7 has a 12 megapixel with sharp shooting f/1.7 aperture. The camera is also capable of shooting 4K (2160p), 1080p and 720p slow motion. While the secondary front-camera is a 5 megapixel with ISOCELL sensor and wide angle lens.
Battery: The Galaxy Note 7 has been claimed as the first Samsung mobile device which has the new USB Type C charging port which helps in fast charging.
