As gamers look forward to the release of the highly anticipated No Man's Sky, a gamer, known online as Daymeeuhn, who bought a pre-released copy of the game claims to have already "beaten" the game.
According to Daymeeuhn, reaching the center of the game's galaxy, which is the ultimate goal of the game, takes around 30 hours.
The science-fiction game, developed by Hello Games, is a narrative space exploration and survival video game that is all set to come on PS4 on August 9, with the PC edition coming out on August 12.
Daymeeuhn, who spent $1,300 to get his hands on a copy of 'No Man's Sky' two weeks ahead of its release, has been sharing his experience and posting videos online, but stopped after Hello Games founder Sean Murray asked players not to spoil it for themselves.
No Man's Sky's features include its sense of scale, thousands of unique worlds and a large amount of time required to reach the centre of the galactic map. All such features sound so vast and promising, but the claims made by Daymeeuhn might affect the expectation of the game enthusiasts.
Daymeeuhn said, "I have done A LOT of what the game has to offer".
"I actually intentionally took time out of my warp jumping over the course of going to the middle to explore planets to break up the monotony of it. This does not mean I have done all of the major events, however", he said.
Although, other redditors believed that the short play-time is due to a single-player vacuum in a game, which Daymeeuhn might have played, which comes alive from the interaction of many players. "This game isn't designed for 1 player. The more there are the harder it is to find something expensive."
