There's nothing better in an NBA Finals then seeing the first two games split at one all. You know you're in for a hard fought series and that will make or break the way careers are remembered. It's absolutely amazing how an athlete can spend over a decade playing in the NBA, and only be remembered for how they played in a seven game series, once.
The average career can span around 700 games and to be remembered for seven games really adds another dimension to the theatre that is, the NBA Finals.
For years, debate has raged over whether in a five a side game, there is room for more than one superstar in your line up. The common one star thread is weaved to perfection in Dallas, with Dirk the greatest seven foot shooter to ever play the game, playing with a support crew of around average players. This against three once in a generation players, Lebron James, Dwayne Wayde and Chris Bosh.
Whichever team wins there will be critics who feel justified, and critics who feel they owe an apology. The NBA is really "where amazing happens"
The time for debate is now over, over the next five games the truth will reveal itself in I'm sure what will be glorious fashion, sit back and enjoy the ride.
