Manchester United continued their fantastic start to the season with a comprehensive 3-0 victory at home to Spurs. United started strongly and were convincing winners as they went top of the table again. Manchester City also won, winning 3-2 away at Bolton to confirm they are genuine title contenders. City has a formidable squad and looks comfortable anywhere on the park.
Chelsea were back to winning ways as they took on West Brom at home. Chelsea needed a victory and they went behind early before coming back in the 2nd half to record a great 3-1 win in front of their own fans.
In other matches, Aston Villa were too strong for Blackburn winning 3-1. QPR recorded their first win in the top flight for 15 years with a 1-0 away win at Everton. Stoke and Norwich played out a 1-1 draw whilst Swansea and Wigan also shared the points with a 1-1 draw. Wolves defeated a poor Fulham 2-0 and in the weekend's derby, Newcastle won a heated match 1-0 away at Sunderland.
