It has been over a year since Apple rolled out its first Apple Watch. Recent rumors suggests that the new version of the Watch is now in the pipeline and may get released by the company soon, most likely September this year at the Apple event.
The latest buzz suggests that the stock of Apple Watches has been decreasing, which seems like a sure sign that the Watch 2 is coming soon.
AppleInsider reported that not just one, but two Apple Watches are coming in 2016. Out of two, one will be the Apple Watch 2 with updated new features such as a GPS, while the other would have a minor update to the current model just like the 'S' model which Apple is using to launch in phones.
Digitimes reported that various supply-chain sources indicate that the new Watch will be coming out in September 2016 on sidelines of the new iPhone 7. According to speculation, the company has made a huge change in the screen by making it larger in Apple Watch chips. Also, it is being said that Apple might offer new straps for the Watch.
U.S.-based Apple Stores recently dropped the price of the Apple Watch by $100 in February, which has been seen as a definite signal that the company has been preparing to announce the next-gen wearable. The new Watch might start from a price of £299.
Another big buzz is that the Apple Watch will have an option of a charger with magnetic connect, and if the Watch is not placed appropriately in a particular position it might not get charged. But Apple is believed to have worked harder and might provide a stronger magnet charger. Apple Watch has been always countered for its battery life, however, it has apparently considered the Apple Watch's battery life sufficient, so it is possible that the company might not come up with huge changes in that.
Also, the Apple Watch is expected to be a waterproof wearable, this time as it might have a 'water resistant' quality. As per rumors, the new device will be thinner compared to the last model.
