With the highly anticipated Season 2 of Quantico set to begin shooting next month, the show's leading lady Priyanka Chopra dished out on what fans can expect when the show returns later this year.
Speaking to reporters after the IIFA 2016 press conference in Madrid, the 33-year-old actress revealed that some faces from the first season will no longer be part of the FBI drama.
"There will be some characters who will be retained in season 2 while there will be some who won't be seen anymore on Quantico 2," Chopra said.
When pressed for details on whether main characters Shelby, Ryan, Caleb, Nima or Raina made the cut, she replied: "I am not telling you that."
Producers of the ABC hit series have promised the second season to be "bigger," yet "more contained" than the first, which centred on the Grand Central bombing attack that led Alex Parrish and the entire FBI on a manhunt for the mastermind behind the attack.
"If season 1 was sort of The Fugitive, season 2 has another blockbuster in mind," EP Josh Safran told Entertainment Weekly, but stopped short of revealing which movie was the inspiration behind season 2.
"If I said it, it'll be very clear what we're doing, and I can't do that," he teased.
On the upside, new faces will be added the mix, including HBO's comedy Looking star Russell Tovey set to play series regular Harry Doyle as a "mischievous gadabout".
