His lyrics are bold, stark and palpably authentic. His music will take you on a journey that most people can identify with and relate to. Shawn McDonald's life has been marked by a string of heartaches, bad breaks, and personal mistakes, events that have landed him both in trouble with the law and in love with the Lord - in that order.
McDonald's most recent album "Closer" is set to be released in Australia in March 2011. He has worked collaboratively with such talents as Ben Glover ("The Lost Get Found") and Brandon Heath, while the album was produced by Christopher Stevens (TobyMac, Sanctus Real).
