"The Well: Why Are So Many Still Thirsty" uses the powerful story of Jesus' encounter with the woman at the well to help readers understand why life seems so unsatisfying.
It's an issue Hall has a great deal of experience in addressing, having ministered to students for the past 18 years at Eagle's Landing Baptist Church outside Atlanta.
While it's easy to confuse things like success, talent, control and favour with the well that will truly sustain us, Hall lets readers know that these are really just holes that can keep us from relying on Jesus and the abundant, refreshing life He offers .
The foreward has been written by Candace Cameron Bure, who starred in TV show "Growing Pains" and is the sister of "Fireproof" actor Kirk Cameron.
