

Award-winning singer and songwriter Carrie Underwood's Greatest Hits: Decade #1 album was released on December 9 and was instantly a big hit. The album was released by 19 Recordings Inc., a New York-based record label, and Sony Music Nashville.
The album rocketed to the fourth top spot on Billboard 200 while claiming the number one spot on the Top Country Albums charts. It beat several records such as achieving the highest sales debut for a greatest hits album in any musical genre in over six years. Underwood's Greatest Hits also garnered the highest first-week sales for a female hits album in almost a decade.
Greatest Hits: Decade #1 features songs from Underwood's past albums, namely Some Hearts, Carnival Ride, Play On and Blown Away.
The album comes with a new track called "Something in the Water". It was released as the album's first single last September. The song was a huge hit, claiming the number one spot on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart. "Something in the Water" made new airplay records on Country radio during its first week released.
Carrie Underwood is no stranger to success. She was the winner of the fourth season of American Idol 2005. All of her albums have claimed top spots in various music charts worldwide.
