Japanese bombing of Darwin 19 February 1942

Although many Australians at the time were kept in the dark about it, Darwin was seriously bombed by the Japanese, starting on February 19th 1942. In fact, there were a total of 64 air raids on Darwin and 33 on other parts of Northern Australia. .
