Resources to support Imams' Pastoral Care?
Dr Illan Katz is the director of the Social Policy Research Centre at UNSW. As part of his research supported by, the Department of Immigration and Citizenship, he found Imams were a main source of guidance for Muslim parents with family problems; and the report he co-authored recommended more help and resources from government and non-government agencies so that they can continue to improve this pastoral care.
