The gospel is not enough?
With this provocative title I listened to Dr Carl Trueman give his talks in Australia (www.reformation21.org/carl-trueman.php). His title was a hook: The gospel is enough and the power for salvation to all who believe. But the way that gospel is upheld and protected throughout the history of the church is through the historic creeds and confessions. .

Finding God's Will – Part 22
Lately, I\'ve been reading this book entitled Finding the Will of God by Bruce Waltke, and it has brought to mind just how much as human beings, we have this desire to seek the advice or direction of a higher being. Whether that figure is our parents, our mentor, or God himself, I think it\'s part of the human condition to seek affirmation for our own decisions. Welcome to Troll City
While the hot topic of the moment is cyber bullying (after the Charlotte Dawson affair) I have to speak up and make it clear that I've been irritated by the 'comment' button for quite some time. I know they're safe in You
My only son, Ezekiel, turned 6 this week and I am so proud to see what a wonderful boy he is turning out to be. The same goes for all my children, I see so much promise in them and know that they will do great things one day. As a parent though, I sometimes struggle with trying to stay calm, peaceful, relaxed. Don't get me wrong, I will never stop loving my children but sometimes they like to push the button, then again, and again and again.
