Is lying ever OK?

Is lying ever OK?

Does God allow it? Or is truth so pure that it cannot ever be polluted?.

  • Jesus and the sword - Part I

Unlike Elton John, I don't know what Jesus would say about gay marriage, or abortion… or gun laws in America. I have so many things I want to ask Him and it's ironic to think that when I finally get the chance to, it won't matter anymore.

  • Private vomit…for public consumption!!!

For an 80s kid, who grew up in the mid-90s, pink diaries really were a girl's best friend! Along with my love for the teen pop band Hanson, the pink diary was an essential item for any pre-teen girl who needed to protect her deepest secrets and greatest desires.

  • Married to the Master

Single Girls Disclaimer: This is not one of those, "let Jesus be your husband" articles, because don't worry – I hate them as much as you do. Besides being theologically inaccurate, they are just plain annoying. So let out a sigh of relief and feel free to continue reading.

  • Secret sharing websites fail to satisfy

\'I told my family that I had a business trip and took a vacation by myself.\'

  • A love story, a testimony, a prophecy

  • The night of the lasagne disaster

Lasagne - it should be easy to make. It usually is, until you realise you are missing one simple ingredient - lasagne sheets. I was sure there was more in the cupboard and it was too late to go to the shops.

I do understand the point of the saying, and guess it does have some truth in it, as overdosing on carrots can literally turn your skin orange. However, I think a far more accurate saying that we should embrace is, "you are what you worship".

  • A dad's perspective on…the alphabet

The alphabet song; I bet after listening to the title it has started playing in your head. I love it. It has to be one of the only activities I can do while fully devoting my attention on something else (multitasking).

  • Marriage and dominion

    Why did God create marriage?

  • Hotel rooms – mini bars, Sky TV…and demons?

Picture this: sun, sea and sand await as you check into your hotel room for that much needed winter break, a million miles away from the cold drizzle and cloudy skies at home.

  • What an end to the Commonwealth Games Rugby Sevens!

As a South African, who lived in New Zealand for almost 10 years and is now an Australian citizen, I could not be more excited about the outcome of the Sevens Rugby!
