    A few years ago, like many Australians I went to the cinema to view Russell Crowe's 'The Water Diviner'. The story line is about a father, an Australian farmer, who lost his three sons on Gallipoli in that disastrous military campaign in 1915.

  • First steam engine road trip

    My parents were dairy farmers at Crediton (Eungella) on the great dividing range west of Mackay Queensland and moved into the Mackay township in 1955 after my father suffered a horse accident during a cyclone when herding ion the milking cows. His story can be read in his diaries held on both our site and the Mackay library.

    My wide Delma and I have been tour guides of Holy Land pilgrims with InnerFaith Travel. Many Australians have toured the Holy Land and reflected on their visit over subsequent years.

    I turned 69 – yes, 32 days ago -  as the Footplate Padre, I have taken the liberty to put pen to paper all about the Sunlander. It had its last run in 2014 – six years ago. This famous Queensland Railways sleeper train ran from Brisbane to Cairns.

    This military action – Pearl Harbour - bought the United States into the Pacific War and a few days later into the European theatre of war when Adolf Hitler declared that Germany was also at War with the United States.

    Confession  -  I have been directly involved in both church building projects and mission building projects.

  • Never forget - Nazi death camps   

    Recently a survey was done in Australia of young people who could articulate the NAZI atrocities – the response was abysmal.

    Mistaken Bible prophecy can become very costly, and provides the example of the Crusades that became the catch cry to return the Holy Land into the hands of the Christians.  The idea had been promulgated that the return of the Lord could not occur until Israel was secure in Christian hands.
