  • Scarcity creates urgency

Recently I watched a black and white 1949 film titled “Whiskey Galore”. It was set in 1943 in the Hebrides Islands (Scotland).

  • ISIS and captured

This continues to be an issue illustrated by the Australian High Court reinstating the Australian passport of an accused terrorist.

  • What is this - FUA

Sometimes a terrific gem pops up in the media and you wonder why you weren't you the one to come up with such a catchy phrase.

  • When overseas on mission - money

When the Patriot Act was passed in America as a result of 9/11, missionaries around the world found themselves in a perplexing situation.

  • Working through acknowledgements

Where do we go with acknowledgements - in recent years I have noted a number of Australia’s civilian honours and sadly, (history is replete with military honours) which are similarly ‘posthumous’ - or after the event of death. There has been a push for some years now to see one or more of our soldiers killed in Afghanistan to be awarded “posthumously”.

  • Laguna Quays Respite – constant bookings

The Whitsundays Laguna Quays Respite for missions has the joy of constant bookings by missionaries, pastors and those in ministry. As we speak CMS missionary family serving in Tanzania are enjoying much needed rest.

  • Deadly politics

Former Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull once revealed the deadly nature of politics:

  • Time to be self functioning

Press Service International was established in 2005 for Dr Mark Tronson to send media stories to Ramon Williams Australia’s Religious Media for distribution.
