A painting that I was commissioned to do years ago - the main reason was that the client wanted a representation of the protection of Jesus over a particular venue.
At the time there were various other religions using the venue and so this piece was a warfare painting to declare that the blood of Christ was at the heart and foundation of all that was done in this particular place.
I remember that as I prayed into this piece God showed me one drop of Christ blood was enough protection against anything. So this became the imagery of this piece. During the process of the painting,
I felt God took me deep into this one drop and He revealed to me that contained within one drop of Jesus blood was His plan of redemption of all his children, restoration of all the brokenness of the world, and a revelation of the Fathers heart to be one with us just as he was one with Adam and Eve in the garden in the beginning.
So I pray that in the current climate of the brokenness of the world that we can look to the blood of the greatest sacrifice of all. That Jesus Christ sacrifice and resurrection is the only way to restore our world and all we need to do is call on His name and we will be saved.
