Arsenal’s Title chances are back on track after successive wins. This time a tough trip away at an inform Leicester City.  The gunners didn’t have it all their own way and were unlucky not to be awarded a penalty when Saka was manhandled in the box.

However just after half time, Martinelli finished a great team goal to seal a 1-0 win. The win keeps the gunners with a 2 point lead and a game in hand with 14 games left in the season.

Manchester City travelled to Bournemouth after a difficult mid week away fixture in Europe. With Arsenal winning, Manchester City knew they needed to win today. City were too strong with 4 goals coming inside the hour mark before Bournemouth sealed a late consolation goal.

And the Rest of the Round

Saturday’s other fixtures saw a few relegation threatened bottom 10 teams gaining valuable outcomes. West Ham moved out of the bottom 3 with a 4-0 thumping of Nottingham Forrest. Meanwhile, Leeds scored a much needed 1-0 win over fellow strugglers Southampton to move out of the bottom 3. This was at the expense of Everton, who lost at home 0-2 to Aston Villa.

Crystal Palace and Liverpool shared the spoils in a scoreless draw in London for the late kick off. Saturday’s early kick off saw Fulham hold Wolves to a 1-1 draw. Rounding out the weekend, Spurs had an impressive 2-0 win at home to struggling Chelsea to move into 4th position.
