As I’ve seen the flood photos from NSW and QLD recently, this photograph I shot years ago as part of my Journeys II photo series has been on my mind.
I wanted to shoot a bride to be, fishing in an empty lake. With the weather controlling the timing of the shoot my wonderful model was on standby for weeks. Thankfully between rains I was able to accomplish what I set out to do. I could have taken the water out of the lake during post production but I prefer to shoot more and edit less.
