Addressing the conference will be local speaker, Wendy Smith, and guest speaker, award winning-author Naomi Reed speaking on the theme, Destined for glory – Walking the road less travelled.
Conference committee chair, Sharon Kirk, said attendees would be encouraged to catch a glimpse of 'our great salvation', to consider how they may live a Christ-like life, and to understand how they can embrace and accept the sufferings of this life.
"The conference is a great opportunity to join with like-minded women and share in great teaching, food, and fellowship at Moree in May.
"Conference talks commence on Friday night and conclude on Saturday afternoon.
"As the first talk is foundational to the talks which follow, attendees are encouraged to come for both days, if possible.
"Women of all ages are welcome, from all denominations and all areas."
Conferences for women have been held over many years throughout New England and North West regions of NSW.
This year, Moree Anglican Church will host the two-day conference which begins with pre-dinner registration on Friday evening at 6:00pm, and concludes on Saturday afternoon.
There will be great teaching, terrific fellowship and good food, along with singing and testimonies.
The conference is sponsored by MU Australia, part of the long-established world-wide Mothers' Union.
The movement exists to share Christ's love by encouraging, strengthening and supporting marriage and family life. MU is particularly concerned with the needs of women in all parts of the world.
