
Dr Mangalwadi had been invited to speak to a variety of audiences on the values that made Australia great. He was the speaker at the inaugural William Wilberforce Luncheon which was held at NSW Parliament House, Macquarie St, Sydney on 10 October 2011. Dr Mangalwadi participated in the presentations to honour NSW Parliamentarians.
The William Wilberforce NSW 2011 Awards were presented to the Hon Greg Smith MP and the Hon Rev Fred Nile MLC, for their stand for life, family, faith and freedom. The Hon Greg Donnelly is also a recipient of a William Wilberforce Award but he was unable to receive his award in person due to his pressing Parliamentary duties.
The Australian Christian Values Institute presented the awards in association with other pro family and faith based groups. Graeme Mitchell from Family Voice, John Miller from the Australian Christian Values Institute along with Warwick Marsh helped in the presentations.
Peter Madden from Heal our Land ministries also supported the William Wilberforce Luncheon and conducted a TV interview with Dr Vishal Mangalwadi.
Dr Vishal Mangalwadi was in Australia from 8 – 16 October for the "Truth and Transformation Tour" which was organised by the Australian Christian Values Institute. During the tour Dr Mangalwadi spoke in Federal Parliament, Canberra, NSW Parliament, Queensland Parliament and also at public rallies in Sydney, Wollongong, Brisbane, Adelaide and Canberra.
