Belinda's video on NZ young writers another superb 'feel-good'

Melbourne's Belinda Croft has once again captured the very essence of an upcoming event with a newly released 1min 40 sec video on the 5 April New Zealand Young Emerging Writers conference in Wellington and it's a superb 'feel-good' production.

For several years now Melbourne's Belinda Croft has been producing short powerful videos for the Press Service International (PSI) young emerging writer program that have been utilised strategically.

The first (1) was when several of the PSI young emerging writers attended the 2012 Australasian Religious Press Association (ARPA) conference, (2) was a promotion of the 2013 PSI young writer conference in Melbourne, (3) was the post Melbourne PSI conference, then late last year (4) another short video production on the PSI young writers at the 2013 ARPA conference.

Belinda Croft designed the second of those videos whereby later edits in subsequent years could be slotted in.

NZ Young Writer Conference – 5 April

Last year my wife Delma and I flew into Auckland for three days, then Christchurch for three, for young writer conferences and a quick calculation showed that holding a single conference in Wellington was a responsible fiscal proposition.

Air-fare scholarships have been raised for those flying into Wellington from Auckland and Christchurch for the Saturday 5 April day conference along with funds being available for the conference day venue and the luncheon.

There are currently 24 New Zealand young writers in the PSI program – four of these are International young writers linked to the NZ program – two are in the West Indies, one the Middle East and one in Perth, Australia.

Christian Today publishes their articles in Cycles over a five week program which is coordinated in Australia. In total there are 65 Australian, New Zealand and International young writers.

Dr Mark Tronson is a Baptist minister (retired) who served as the Australian cricket team chaplain for 17 years (2000 ret) and established Life After Cricket in 2001.
