According to Graham's daughter, Anne Graham Lotz, her father is still active in his ministry at the age of 96.
In an interview with Premier Christian Radio, Mrs. Lotz spoke of her father's drive and tenacity.
"He is 96. He has not yet lost his focus on the Gospel - reaching people for Christ. And to maintain that focus when he had so many temptations to lose it, he never lost his focus."
Billy Graham, who was ordained as a Southern Baptist minister, is one of the most famous evangelists in the world. He first gained nationwide fame in the late 40s. Most of his followers are middle-class Protestants.
Graham's daughter spoke of her father's humility. Despite an impressive career and popularity, Mrs. Lotz emphasised how her father remains down to earth and faithful to God.
"It was never about him. My father is a very humble man. And I think it comes from his walk with God. If you walk with God, you're not very impressed with yourself. It's when people drift from God that they start getting depressed or start seeing what people say about them - then they start getting puffed up. But my father, he is a truly genuine authentic man of God who's very humble. He has never forgotten that he was just the son of a dairy farmer."
Graham is known to have put together successful rallies while his popular sermons are broadcast on various forms of media - from television to radio. His huge success as an evangelist lead him to become the spiritual adviser to some American Presidents - such as Dwight D. Eisenhower, Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon.
