I am Victoria Richards, a fourth-year medical student at the University of the West Indies, Jamaica. Serving the Lord brings me joy. I enjoy sharing the gospel through singing, writing poetry and encouraging others.

  • Walking by faith, not by sight

God is faithful; He has proven to me that he is in control and that I do not have to worry about anything.

  • Because of sin!

So many times, the questions are asked; Why do bad things happen in this world; Why do bad things happen to good people; and why is there so much pain, hatred, and hurt?

  • New Birth - "The Battle between the Spirit and the Flesh"

A few mornings ago I was meditating on 1 John chapter 3 verse 9, which reads “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.”

  • God is in control

“All my life You have been faithful, All my life You have been so, so good With every breath that I am able, I will sing of the goodness of God”.

  • Life, meaningless without Jesus

Within the blink of an eye the breath flowing through our lungs can be taken from us. At that time all that really matters is: Did we have a true relationship with Jesus Christ? And is it well with our souls?

  • I vow to praise You

Abba, deserves all worship, He deserves all praise

  • Never alone

There are times in our lives when we feel alone and we feel as if our struggles are too much. During these times Abba wants us to know that he is ever present, no matter how we feel.

  • The Bible, my standard

Our society is changing, we can see it in the behaviour of human beings and the different laws that are now set in place.

  • Keep Running

Growing up I have always heard that the Christian journey is a marathon with a lot of hurdles on the track, not a 100 meter dash. I have seen it for myself now.

  • Dependable God

This past season of my life showed me how dependable Yahweh is. He reminds me everyday that he will never leave me alone. He has been my strength, my shield and my defense.
